Remembrance day.

I have been writing poems. I have been writing haiku poems.
This is my poem on Remembrance Day.

I still see the joy
of the people before war.
After war, crying.

Friends

I have been writing poems on friends in my class. This is my learning.

Friends You are the starlight in my eyes thats always beside my heart.
When I think about you, your the one who makes me smile because I know you care.
It is lovely to be with you because you share, you care.
you make me feel like your a parent for sticking up for me
making sure I have no ups or down's.
Thank you for being my starlight.

My free verse poem

DOGS

My dog's eyes are brown like chocolate.
She walks beautifully like a show dog walking on her way to fame.
When I feel her ear's, it like I am hugging a teddy bear.
My dog tries to go inside but my parents glide through the room and shut the door!

A network of friends

A network of friends is family community and just school friends. this is a chart of friends.

Friendly, fun,fabulous,fantastic.
Reliable, responsible, radiant, relaxing.
Invaluable, interesting, impressive, ideal.
Enlightened, enjoyable, earnest,energetic.
Nobel, nice, nifty, natural.
Dignity, delightful, dependable, dear.

This is the start of term 4

To be a good friend you have to be honest, share, be friendly, be responsible, tell them secrets, trust them and congratulate them. To be a good friend you have to stick up for them. That's what I do. I have lots of friends. The most important thing is not to loose a friend because it is very hard to make a friend. You have to say to your friend, "You are a true friend."

My Science Fair

For my science fair I am doing 'Tan in a Can'. I am testing what spray tan goes the darkest and lasts the longest . I was guessing that Rubaya (a spray tan) will be the darkest and last the longest and I was right! I used a digital camera to document my results. I have brought a big science board from the shops to present my science fair on. We are presenting it on Wednesday the 18th of September 2008. My class is having a shared afternoon tea to celebrate our science fair. I hope it goes really well and everybody likes my science fair!

My week of learning

This week we have bee learning about square numbers. I have been writing a myth on Australia. My title is Why snake has no arms or legs. You have to have a partner for it. We are doing a science investigation. We do it at home. My science experiment is on spray tans. I do have written up the aim, hypothesis apparatus and method this week.
